it does not work, the clip is just one smooth piece of metal, meaning it slides off your sweat pants with about the same amount of force it takes to draw your gun.

The top tab that flips up is just the tab to latch the clip. ( not what you clip onto your pants ) You have to put your pants in the gap closest to the holster clip , not the outer tab. Do this and it will hold on anything

I have this clip on three holsters. It’s great for sweatpants or for minimum printing (clips to pants behind the belt) or if you want to tuck in your shirt, it is possible.
