These Tuckable IWB Leather Holster are handcrafted from start to finish.  Starting with the cutting through the sewing to create the best top quality product on the market!  This is the attention to detail that you all have come to expect from Muddy River Tactical.  These holsters have a full sweat shield to protect your body from the firearm.  The leather is full grain 10-11 ounce natural water buffalo that will give you an extremely durable, soft, and comfortable Tuckable IWB Leather Holster option. These holsters have a soft suede like feel on the outside which makes them a pleasure to carry.  The cant angle is fully adjustable due to the single point attach belt clip that will accommodate belts up to 1.75″

We start the molding process on these Tuckable IWB Leather holsters then allow you to finish it.  Simply fully insert your firearm into holster and let sit for 24-48 hours, then start wearing it.  This allows the holster to mold to your firearm and body in the position that you desire to carry it.  Not everyone has the same body shape or carry preferences so this will give you the best fitting and formed holster for YOU!  Break in period generally takes 5-7 days, then you will be set for life!

    Bought the Tuckable leather holster for my new Kimber Ultra Raptor, super comfortable, sits really nice in the holster and I love the swivel style clip so I can pull the gun forward a little for more comfortability. Only gripe so far would be reholstering is difficult but this will go away the more the holster forms to my pistol and that my 3″ barrel sticks out of the bottom a quarter inch at least but all in all its been good so far. Great customer service, the owner messaged me back at like 3am after I ordered my holster while working night shift. I just bought another holster for my hellcat because it was that nice. 5 Stars, I think this will be a winner Longterm especially since it is minimalistic and fits well.

    Have had one for my S&W CSW for about a year, worn almost daily. Wish I could upload a photo, the leather looks really good and got the contour and shapes of the pistol offering very good retention when inside the waistband. I see reviews about the leather scratching easily when new, well it is exactly the opposite, almost self healing at this point! Get one to carry daily, not to go to the range.

    I was looking for a holster that I could wear with gym shorts/sweatpants as well as pants with a belt and this one does the job. You get to choose the angle of the clip before you tighten the screw which makes it comfortable for strong side or appendix. The leather is sturdy but also forms really well to the firearm after a few days wearing. I also like that the body-side portion of the leather is taller to guard your love handles from the beaver tail/hammer (if you’re carrying a 1911-style or hammer-fired gun). Perfect CC holster in my opinion if you don’t like Kydex digging into you or if you don’t want to have to reposition a friction holster every 10 minutes. I would definitely purchase again.

    Great!! Excellent fit for my SA Hellcat RDP, good feeling leather too. Jammed in tightly wrapped with some plastic bags for a week working the leather intermittently and now fits fine. Deholsters and reholsters greatly, for my taste. Their Muddy River clip is just fine, but for an even flusher, lower profile fit, along with remaining tuckable, I replaced the clip, using a bit of locktite on the single(keeping the adjustable cant) screw threads, with an Ulticlip XL but using only the actual single metal piece screwed into the holster and, after a few bends creating enough spring tension for me, clipping onto/curving under the belt. The Ulticlip spring mechanism locking pieces (2) tightening it more securely onto the belt I’ve found not to need, it’s very secure as is without any ‘locking’, and now that much more flush without the, for me needless, 2 Ulticlip locking mechanism pieces. It’s now extremely low profile. The holster itself is great, just what I was looking for!

    This holster is awesome!!! I bought this to try as a SOB (small of back) holster. It is more comfortable than the kydex one I bought a couple months ago. The first time I wore it felt almost like I had nothing at all. After the break-in period it has been my summer holster. Here in Minnesota it get humid and hot.     This is my 1st inside waistband holster.
    Very happy with it.
    I got it for my little LCP 380.
    It also fits the new LCP II in 22 caliber.
    I did the wax paper break in routine for about 12 hours and that was enough to get it to fit correctly.
    The only time I can even notice that it’s on me is when I sit down. And that is probably because I wear it in the appendix cross draw position.
    Otherwise just moving around up during the day I forget it’s on me.
    I will be getting another one for my 9 mm LC9.

    I truly was not expecting much. I wanted to carry my Springfield XDS mod2 .45 comfortably and found that the typical kydex holsters I use and like for other guns was sharp, uncomfortable and awkward to wear/use. I bought this one as a “we’ll see” and boy oh boy is this the best!! So comfortable to wear all day, different clothing – jeans, khakis, dress pants. The leather is very soft and supple. I have two concerns thoughts though: 1) the leather is “coloring” a little at the finger guard as the pistol is pressed in, hopefully this is not a future point of failure; and 2) i bought the tuckable only because of the ability to adjust cant angle, that being said, I doubt very much if I will tuck it, my only concern is it would be nice to have the plastic clip replaced with a metal one, also with the ability to raise or lower the depth would be nice for deep conceal or higher up.

    If you want a comfortable holster for your gun this is it. If you want a holster that works properly and holds the weapon securely, does not hinder draw – and pray God that you do not need to use it, this is your holster. If you “play” with your carry gun drawing and re-holstering it, this is not for you as the leather collapses and is not conducive to re-holstering

    Overall I am happy with this holster. I have a Springfield Hellcat and never had a leather holster for a striker fired gun. I was also discouraged from getting a leather holster for striker fired by many people. After a week of wearing the holster daily it is breaking in and becoming more comfortable. I can’t decide if I like it better than my kydex or not. My biggest concern is the plastic clip, I just do not feel like it is good as metal like my other holsters. There are not many bad reviews for this holster that’s why I went ahead and tried it. I would buy again.

    This is honestly the best holster I have ever purchased. I am committed to carrying everyday. This holster and my choice of carry make it feel like the sidearm is not even there. With the tuckable belt clip design I can were this holster and carry any were and not draw attention to myself. . . church, the office, the store. . . it works every well.     I’ve been trying to get away from uncomfortable kydex holsters. No matter how much $ I spent on kydex they just aren’t comfortable. I absolutely love this holster. I enjoy more of a 20% forward cant which is not easy to find on most holsters but this one does. I wear it at about 2:30 cinch it down with my belt and it is the most comfortable holster and doesn’t move around at all. I forget it’s there at times. It molded perfectly to my firearm in a matter of days and became comfortable and formed to me like a good pair of years old work boots in no time.

    Ordered my holster last week and got it yesterday. FYI, you don’t get a “it’s been shipped” email but be patient, it’s on it’s way.I am moving from Kydex to leather for comfort. This my first leather holster and it’s great. It does require some break in. I heeded others advice and stuck my Shield 2.0 wrapped in wax paper in the holster over night. Out of the box the the gun is a very very tight fit. The over night wax paper exercise loosed in up a lot. The gun still fits snug and will not easily fall out (one of my concerns of a leather holster). I can still hold holstered gun upside down and it doesn’t fall out. Love the plastic clip too. Some complained but it is easily maneuvered and truly locks on the the belt with no chance of coming off accidentally. Very well made. As a leather holster, it will only get better with time. Great product.

    Update: Have been using it steadily with 1.5″ leather and 1.75″ duty belts, and it is supper comfortable and secure. The size I bought was for the Glock 17/22, because I have both a Glock 45 (9mm) and a Glock 22 (.40 S&W), and it works well for both, with only 3/8″ of “empty space” on the muzzle end when carrying the G45.
    Comfortable, and I like the fact that I could change/adjust the angle of the belt clip for my preferred appendix carry position.
    Highly recommended holster (I have a “plethora” of holsters, and in the IWB category, this one is the best) – would advise a friend to purchase (in fact, I have).

    This may be the most comfortable holster I’ve ever worn. The leather is very soft and has a vintage look. Almost like a baseball glove that takes years to soften and develop a patina. Was a little snug at first. I simply wrapped my gun in a plastic bag and left it in the holster overnight. It now has the perfect retention. Easy to draw but won’t slide out if holder holster upside down and shaking. The price is very reasonable for a holster of this quality. Would have paid more to be honest. Please don’t raise your prices. Lol.

    I ordered on line, I made a mistake on one of the holsters and had to return it. That process went smooth and had the exchange in 4 days. I ordered two IWB tuckables for a shield and 1911 range officer compact. They fit very snug, so I wrapped them in cling wrap and wore them next to the skin for several days. I also taped a dowel rod that was just taller then the sights along the top of the slide. I worked the leather with my fingers to get it to stretch and form fit. The sights are fiber so do stick up some. I also burnished the leather edges and the full length of the holster where the sights slide. I put a hammer strap on the 1911, for cocked and locked carry. The leather is very good quality, soft but with body. A top notch business to order from. Will order again.

    Water buffalo leather is the softest leather I’ve ever felt. My Muddy River OWB holster is absolutely the most comfortable I’ve had the pleasure to wear.     I ordered the soft leather iwb holster on Wednesday evening and it was in my mailbox on Saturday. This is my first Muddy River holster and I am impressed with the quality of the product. If I had to offer one suggestion it would be to find a way to stiffen the top of the holster a bit. It has a tendency to collapse in when the pistol is drawn which makes it difficult to reholster. The holster is very comfortable worn in the four o’clock position and will only get better after it is broken in. Thank you for offering a quality holster at a reasonable price.     It’s pretty great ???? I wear it about every day. Comfortable enough to carry the gun for 8 hours no problem. My only complaint is that I’ve had to get in the habit of tightening the screw that holds the belt clip and holster together, every time I take the holster off my belt since the screw keeps loosening. Once, before I realized that, the screw came all the way unscrewed and when I pulled my pants down to use the bathroom, I always cover gun when I do, when I reached to cover the gun this time the holstered gun was no longer secured to the belt clip and almost dropped to the floor. Only a minor nuisance long as you pay attention. It’s not a bad product, I do like it. It’s my holster of choice when I need to deep conceal. Just keep in mind this happens to mine, it may or may not happen to yours. Mine could be an isolated incident. All this can be negated by simply tightening the screw each day when you take it off your belt.

    Quick delivery. Mine was also a bit longer than I would have wanted for the PX4 compact, even after forcing it in.

    I’ve left it in the holster for 24 hours, and I’m going to start wearing it as I would normally. I’m hoping it will contour more to the pistol after a week or so.

    For now, I’m happy with the holster. It feels comfortable, and is what I had hoped for.

    I use the tuckable holster because the clip allows for a greater cant angle, which cuts down on printing for me at the 3:30 position.

    Just wish I could get an extra C clip, or had a way to order an extra one.

    This holster is well made. I have over 20 different types of holsters. My problem with this one is the mounting point for the clip is too low. This prevents me from wearing this at a good concealment height. The gun needs to be about 1/2″ lower. Due to this, I ended up wasting my money because it is comfortable, but doesn’t conceal nearly as well as my more adjustable holsters.

    Received the holster quickly, and immediately wrapped my pistol in a plastic bag, and placed the covered pistol in the holster, then left it overnight as is till later the following day. Took the pistol out of the bag, and kept bolstering it on,and off during the day. Changed the height of the carry position, along with the cant to suit my liking. Did not like at first the belt clip ability to be used with up to a .75″ belt, because I thought the holster would loose some rigidity for the draw. Wrong, can to like the ability to adjust cant slightly when driving, with no real change in the draw. About a week now, and love it. First leather holster, and think I’ll be back for more.

It’s nice to have options and Muddy River seems to have the answers to those needs. Their claims to fast shipping are spot on. I ordered mine on July 4 at 10pm (Thurs) and had a reply on July 5 at 10am (holiday weekend) that my order was received and would ship THAT day. We suggest fully inserting your firearm in the holster and leave it for 24-48 hours or so, then begin wearing the holster in your desired position. Within a week the holster should begin to break in to the fit it is designed for.

At first I didn’t like how tall the back side was…. it kind of made me have to change my initial grip…. but I love how it doesn’t allow the safety lever or the beavertail to dig into me.
