Level 2 Retention Duty Holster features:
. The Level 2 Retention Holster has adjustable retention on the firearm / or light , then a spring release Level 2 hood to ensure your firearm is always secure no matter what!
. All holsters have a hood button release blocker built in as well to eliminate accidental release of the Level 2 Retention Duty Holsters spring loaded release button. This allows the user to easily use the level 2 hood, but keeps anyone else from easily being able to work the holster while you are wearing!
. Made from .125″ Kydex to provide a rock solid holster that will stand up to all elements
. All Level 2 Retention Duty Holsters are optic ready! The holster will cover the sides of the Optic from getting hit or bumped. However, the top of the optic cover is open to allow use of optics that have solar charging on top of the optic. If you do not have an optic on your pistol it will not have any negative effect!
. Come standard with a Blade-tech Drop leg mount attached. This allows use for almost any duty use on belts all the way up to 2.25″. The drop leg mount does NOT include the leg strap though.
. This holster is compatible with other attachments as well including a Blade-Tech Tek-lok, or Blade-Tech Stingray loop. They will also work with any safariland attachments you may have.
. Open bottom to be able to accept Threaded Barrel. Also keeps dirt and debris from collecting in holster.

I am going to touch on negatives and then end with positives. The level 2 action was sticky, however, adding just a touch of gun oil and that immediately cleaned everything right up. It has an ambidextrous magazine release cover on both sides. This feature does not allow me to get a fully positive grip on the bottom corner of the trigger well for the cleanest and smoother draw, moving from holster to secure grip immediately. Holstering is also slightly difficult because of this as I prefer to fully seat my gun before releasing my grip and then securing the retention. That cover pinches my fat sausage fingers.
As for positives, it is very innovative for something small business made. The action, once oiled, is fast and clean. There are no occlusions in the holster to impede draw or damage the firearm. (I. E screws poking out, rough spots, unsanded or filed) The adjustable level 1 retention is great with multiple points of adjustment. The level 2 retention is very clever. The modularity with safari land is awesome as they make a lot of fun accessories.
Overall for the price and quality, this is a great holster. I would like to speak to the manufacturer at some point about a few things I’ve mentioned, but outside of spending twice the price for a similar quality concept, I am very satisfied. Also, production and shipping was pretty fast comparatively.

Ever since serving in the Air Force Security Forces, we always carried and used Safariland level 2 drop leg holsters. I’ve been hooked on that type of holster and it always felt like second nature to operate them. Your company was THE first one I saw who offered a level 2. I’m still trying to break in the holster but once my sidearm clicks in and pull the hood over, I know without a doubt that it’s secured and definitely not going anywhere!
