    I would just like to say how great these people are to work with. I own a muddy river tactical OWB holster in which the belt loops won’t fit over the buckle of a belt I have. I contacted them and they immediately agreed to mail out some new belt loops that should fit. That is great customer service that you just don’t see much of anymore! They also make great holsters.

    Perfect fit for my M&P 5.7 and magazine. Both holsters form well to the body. Lots of adjustment points on both the holster and mag pouch. Folks often get the magazine molds wrong, but they nailed it even with this longer mag. Went with the closed ended muzzle holster; no stickage. The American flag with US Constitution graphic is a great touch. Love it. It comes on both the holster and mag pouch, fyi. That was a nice surprise.

    Holster shell was molded well, but the pistol was really floppy and top-heavy on the belt — wasn’t even close to my body. I used a gunbelt and adjusted the belt loops several times, but I couldn’t find any combination that worked. Unfortunately I didn’t test it enough within the 15-day return period, so I’m stuck with it. Waste of $$.

    Just got my holster yesterday. Wearing it today! Fits my Glock 48 9mm perfectly and feels good against my body. I was supposed to get the conceal carry replacement belt loops, but they were not included with the holster! Retention is real good and secure, a bit hard to draw, but hoping it will relax a bit after a few draws. Overall, a very good holster, I’m very pleased.

    Really like this holster. It’s light and seems durable. Great price point and good quality. It holds a nice tight fit and gives the perfect amount of resistance. Only thing I didn’t like was that I can’t use it with my mag release extension. As soon as I holter it it compresses the mag button and drops the mag. Not a big issue if you run it without the extentions but my canik came with the extension so they’re nice to have on.

I bought this more for range carry but it does work for concealed carry too. The holster is well made and comfortable. For negatives I really have to be critical and look for something. The only thing would be is I would like to have a little tighter retention. That is a personal preference as it does have good retention so I did not think it was fair to ding the rating. I would absolutely buy another of their OWB holsters in the future without hesitation.

I like that the belt loops are angled properly which gives it a correct curve on my hip and avoids printing. I wear it at 3 o’clock. I like the height as well and chose open barrel end so it was more compact and concealable. I use a Velcro/leather Safariland Sam Browne underbelt, very important to use a strong belt on any side rig. Great job Muddy River!

    This is my first OWB holster and so far I love it. I selected open end in carbon color – Coyote Brown. My FN509M FDE looks great with this color and fits great without being too tight. The holsters shape does not interfere with the mag release buttons and you will need a good gun belt to hold secure. A little back story, I’m relatively new to concealed carry and my first Muddy River holster is a IWB kydex which I like very much but wanted more comfort so ordered the IWB leather. It was very comfortable but the tall front sight on my FN509M would dig in while drawing weapon. I called Kevin and he said he doesn’t recommend leather for tall front sights and said he’d be happy to exchange. I sent the leather holster back and there were issues with USPS but Kevin took care of it for me. Wow! Customer Service was exemplary, Thank you Kevin!! I will be shopping at Muddy River Tactical for my carry needs.

    The finest OWB I’ve tried! It fits really well because the inner side of the kydex is mostly flat and the shape of the gun is mostly on the outer side. I’ve had other holsters where you could draw a line down the center of the top of the gun and that’s how they shaped their holsters and they don’t fit as well.     Received this holster about a week ago. Appears to be constructed well and very sturdy. I adjusted the belt loops to provide some cant as I wear it at 4:00. The only minor issue is that the retention is quite strong. I applied some heat to the trigger guard to lighten the retention a bit. It would be awesome if this holster had a retention screw to allow for easy adjustment.

    I was never a fan of Kydex holsters especially OWB. I always preferred leather. I have a few IWB Kydex and they normally just sit in the “ holster box”. I recently purchased a Beretta APX-A1 w/ a red dot. Well, there aren’t a lot of holster options out there. I came across Muddy River & they had a OWB w/ the cutout for the red dot. I figured I’d buy it until something better came along. Let me tell you this thing is awesome. Firm hold, surprisingly comfortable (I forget I’m wearing it) and best of all it’s completely invisible under even a tee shirt. This has completely changed my opinion on Kydex. Great great product.     From the looks of the holster it’s well built. I like the totally inclosed style that wraps the whole gun down to the the end of the barrel. How ever the way the holster rides in conjunction with the body is not very appealing. The top of the holster is positioned away from the body in a outward position and is not comfortable to wear as it almost makes the gun angled with the lower portion inward and the upper portion outward. I feel as if the gun is tipping away from me and I am constantly checking it by feel to make sure it is not. Perhaps a better belt system and more position hole’s would be better on the gun grip end as my holster only has three holes and the front has four. Other than that I think your product is very good.

      Good morning sir and thank you for your order, we greatly appreciate it! The belt loops on either side of the holster can be adjusted independently for ride height and cant angle. Also your holster (especially a outside the waistband holster) is only as good as your belt. If you have a flimsy belt that just folds over, then your holster will follow. You need a stiff belt, or better yet one of our gun belts designed for concealed carry which will not twist and allow your holster to twist out with it.

    Had this one made for my 2 gun belt. Very happy with the profile, cut and attachment options. Only minor wish I could have is that it would work with my molle attachment items.

    The retention is great. Ran it through three courses already- held tight during all running, jumping and crawling that was done. Kept my 365xl nice and tight, and I was able to adjust it so i was able to keep full mobility on my right hip for odd position shoots. Very well made holster, and I’m very happy with how it’s performed so far.
