Everyone likes to carry in different positions and angles, so with our adjustable cant angle you can carry anyway from appendix carry to 4-5 o’clock with the same holster. To adjust the cant angle you simply loosen the two screws holding the belt clip on, move the belt clip to desired angle, then tighten the two screws back up.

. You have two belt clip options when you order your H&K USP 9/40 Compact IWB Kydex Holster. The standard clip is included in the price of the holster and fits belts up to 1.5″. If you choose to upgrade to a tuckable belt clip, you gain the ability to tuck your shirt in to conceal your firearm. The tuckable belt clips will fit belts up to 1.75″. (The holsters are molded differently for each belt clip style, so if you order the tuckable clip you don’t get the standard clip option and vice versa)
. All of our kydex holsters come with the option to add a claw attachment. The claw is designed to ride against your belt and push the grip of the firearm into your body. This eliminates printing and makes concealing your mid to full size firearms much easier!

Kevin, could not have been any better to deal with. He was prompt, responsive, courteous, professional, and extremely helpful. The firearm used with the holster is a H&K USP Compact in .40 caliber with the modified (larger) HK45C Magazine Release (part number 234270).
Being new to the world of every day carry, I ordered the soft loops as I wasn’t sure how much I would care for the hard belt clip. Upon trying to swap out the belt clip for the soft loops, I found that one of the soft loop snaps would not close. Being the hobbyist DIY-er, I tried several things to get the snaps to fit together to no avail. I emailed Kevin, hoping he could just send me the bottom portion of the snap (the post). Instead, Kevin said “No problem, I’ll send you another set of loops.” It may not sound like a lot, but to me that is commitment to standing behind your product. Just as well, immediately after ordering I realized that my modified magazine release may not fit properly. I emailed Kevin and he said if it didn’t fit, I could send it back and he’d make another one that did. Fortunately I did not have to send it back as the firearm fit without issue, and the second set of soft loops were much more cooperative.
Having carried with this holster for about a month now, I’ve found that it does the job well. Carrying every day has made me realize that I’m not as thin as I used to be, but that is more of a personal problem than a holster problem. Overall based on my experience, I would gladly purchase from Muddy River Tactical again.

This holster is very, very well made and very comfortable to wear. I adjusted it to maximum forward cant and it hides the USPc well, even with the extended floorplate magazines. Finding good, reasonably priced holsters for the USPc is a bit of a challenge since it’s not as ubiquitous as, say, a Glock. I enjoy this holster and plan on buying more from Muddy River Tactical.
